DURAND, Mich. — (Mid Michigan Gazette) A 40-year-old man from Durand died following a crash on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
According to the Michigan State Police, early information indicates the man was the sole occupant and driver of a 1992 Geo Tracker when it left the roadway and struck a tree on Prior Road around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday night.
MSP added that the man sustained life threatening injuries from the incident and later died.
Officials are still investigating the crash.
Troopers have not released the name of the victim at this time.
