34-year-old Perry woman killed after car strikes tree

PERRY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (Mid Michigan Gazette) — The Michigan State Police (MSP) is investigating a car crash that killed a woman in Perry.

According to MSP, the incident happened around 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in the 3600 block of Britton Road.

Officials added that early information suggested that a 34-year-old Perry woman was traveling at a “high rate of speed” when she lost control of her 2025 Chrysler Pacifica and struck a tree.

The woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

MSP has not identified the victim at this time.
