MARQUETTE, Mich. (Mid Michigan Gazette) — The Marquette Police Department is asking for help in locating an endangered missing person.
According to an initial social media post, police said the missing man, Trenton Massey, was seen on Feb. 22, 2026, around 3:08 a.m.
In a second social media post, they said he was last seen on video at 3:25 a.m. in the area of E. Baraga Ave. and the Founder’s Landing Boardwalk. Massey appeared to be disoriented and having difficulty walking.
Law enforcement added that he was likely trying to walk to his residence on McMillan Street in Marquette.


He was last seen wearing a black and olive-green coat.

Officials have provided a relevant search area given the known circumstances. The Marquette Police Department is asking residents and businesses in the red shaded area to check camera footage from 3:25 a.m. on Feb. 22, 2026, and onward for any signs of Massey.
MPS also requests people who live in the area to check their property, including vehicles and outbuildings, for signs of the missing man.
The area in question is south of Washington Street from McClellan Ave. to the Lake Superior shoreline, and south to Furnance Street.
