Shiawassee River advisory issued following 110K-gallon discharge of ‘partially treated wastewater’
Officials with the Shiawassee County Health Department (SCHD) recommend avoiding coming into full-body contact with the water in the Shiawassee River following a “Sanitary Sewer Overflow” (SSO) at the wastewater treatment plant within the City of Durand.
